The unReal Housewives of Kansas City is a monthly Web series following the lives of fictitious Kansas City residents Marci Robbinson, Alaina Kingsley, Kiki McCoy, Rochae Bastillion and Demi Fitzpatrick.
In their first season, the ladies strive to juggle family, social calendars and careers amid all the Kansas City drama. The fab five prove that their Midwest martinis and Manolos are just as sexy and expensive as their O.C. and N.Y. counterparts.

435 South: What do you do during the day?
Marci: Well, let’s see. I have so many social responsibilities that it is hard to keep up. Just keeping up on what’s happening in the gossip world is time-consuming alone.
Alaina: I practice my vocal warm-ups in my pink warm-ups. Singing is a visual medium.
Kiki: I keep up with my busy schedule of charity events and appearances as Brock McCoy’s wife.
Rochae: Well, after I make a to-do list of daily chores for my husband, I spend my day preparing for that next photo shoot/fashion show by practicing my runway walk, smiling with my eyes and being fierce!
Demi: It takes a lot of work and time to look like I do. Mirror time is essential. It’s a commitment, and you have to be diligent. But I’m worth the sacrifice.
Like in all the seasons of Bravo’s “Housewives,” there are always group squabbles. Who is squabbling with whom and why?
Marci: Oh for the LOVE! If I have to hear one more argument about who has the best autobiography, it just might drive me to drink! Kiki and Rochae go at it over the books they are writing. Personally, I find it all boring.
Alaina: Rochae is mean to Kiki sometimes. Marci is mean to me sometimes. And I get mad at Demi for flirting with my stepson. We all love each other.
Who would you say is the leader of the group?
Alaina: Marci takes charge of our social calendar. She knows everyone who is anyone in Kansas City. She must have a huge Rolodex. I know her husband has a huge one, too.
Who is the “newbie” of the group, and has there been any hazing?
Demi: Rochae is the newest, but she’s fitting right in. She and I share a commitment to inner beauty and outer perfection.
Who is your fashion icon/inspiration?
Marci: Jackie O. The woman is pure class. She is sensational. How that woman aged, it’s beyond me. She is timeless!
Alaina: I like to see what Miley Cyrus is wearing. I want to stay young and relevant with my wardrobe.
Kiki: Oh, there are so many glamorous women out there. That Dolly Parton really seems like she is just as nice in real life as on TV.
Rochae: Me! I think I have a great sense of style, and I inspire so many. You should see how many friends I have on Facebook!
Demi: Demi Moore. I also really admire Barbara Hershey for snagging that hot guy from “Lost.” Go girl!
What did your husband give you for your last anniversary?
Marci: Being a periodontist, my hubby gave me a deep cleaning to remove tartar from behind my gums to keep my smile amazing. Also, he gave me a diamond-encrusted toothbrush holder. Isn’t he thoughtful?
Alaina: Usually jewelry, but this year he bought me the video game Rock Band. My husband plays the drums, my stepchildren play the guitars and I sing, of course.
Kiki: He bought me a heart-shaped diamond necklace to symbolize our love. He also bought me a new Chiefs jersey to wear.
Rochae: He bought me a Porsche Cayenne! As a reward, I let him take me to Plaza III Steakhouse instead of making him cook a nice romantic meal at home.
Demi: A divorce.
What do you hope people learn from the show?
Marci: How hard it truly is to be me. To have the weight of these women’s social lives over me is exhausting. To be incredibly fabulous all the time can take such a toll. Thank God for Diva Premium Vodka. KC needs to learn how to be classy like me!
Alaina: Live, love and dream big! It’s all about powerful women living loud in Kansas City.
Kiki: I hope people know that it may look easy to live the way that we live and do all the important things we do, but it is a lot of really, really hard work. It’s not all fun and martinis.
Demi: I want people to see that we’re real women with real, important feelings and experiences.
